Do I need experience?
No. Our rental equipment is available for anglers of all experience levels. If you’re new to fly fishing, we’re happy to offer recommendations or help you book a guide.
Do I need a Colorado Fishing License?
Yes. Anglers 16 years of age and older are required to have a valid Colorado Fishing License before fishing. Here’s how to quickly get your fishing license
What should I bring?
Dress for changing mountain weather, bring polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, drinking water, and your Colorado fishing license. We’ll take care of the equipment.
Can I reserve equipment in advance?
Absolutely. We recommend reserving your rental equipment in advance, especially during the busy summer and fall fishing seasons.
Where can I fish?
We’ll recommend productive public access locations on the Eagle River, Gore Creek, and other nearby waters based on current river conditions.

- Rental equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations are recommended during peak fishing season.
- A valid credit card and photo ID are required at pickup.
- Equipment must be returned by the agreed-upon time unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Damaged or lost equipment may incur replacement charges.
- A valid Colorado Fishing License is required for anglers aged 16 and older.
