CHUBBY CHERNOBYL BROWN ORANGE
$3.15
Description
Chubby Chernobyl Brown Orange is a popular foam dry fly known for its incredible buoyancy, visibility, and strike-triggering profile. The brown body imitates large terrestrials like hoppers or stoneflies, while the vibrant orange wing post offers maximum visibility for the angler—even in rough or fast-moving water. “Chubby’s Eagle River” is a colloquialism for the Chubby Chernobyl fly pattern used by anglers on the Colorado Eagle River, rather than a physical location.
Tied with durable foam, rubber legs, and flashy accents, this fly creates a lifelike silhouette and surface disturbance that draws aggressive strikes. It floats high and can support heavy nymphs as part of a dry-dropper rig. Ideal for summer and early fall fishing, the Chubby Chernobyl Brown Orange is a must-have attractor pattern for trout in rivers, creeks, and mountain streams. Bold, visible, and effective—it gets noticed and gets eaten.
