MICRO MAYFLY TUNGSTEN PATTERNS
$3.50
Description
Micro Mayfly Golden Tungsten is a nymph with a tungsten bead & realistic segmentation. Ideal for picky trout in spring creeks, tailwaters & clear flows.
Micro Mayfly Golden Tungsten is a finely tuned nymph pattern built for stealth, sink rate, and realism. Featuring a slim, tapered body with subtle ribbing and a gold tungsten bead, this fly is designed to get down quickly without creating splash or bulk—perfect for pressured trout in spring creeks, tailwaters, and clear freestones.
Tied to imitate juvenile mayflies such as Baetis or Pale Morning Duns, the Micro Mayfly is especially effective when fish are keyed in on small prey and ignoring larger attractors. The gold bead provides just enough flash to catch a trout’s eye while adding critical weight to reach the strike zone fast.
It shines in technical water, soft seams, and slow pools where precise drifts and realistic silhouettes make all the difference. Fish it solo on light tippet, or as a dropper in a dry-dropper rig for targeting mid-column feeders.
