RAINBOW WARRIOR TUNGSTEN JIG

Description

Rainbow Warrior Jig Tungsten – a flashy, fast-sinking attractor nymph

Rainbow Warrior Jig Tungsten are high-visibility attractor fishing flies designed to get down fast and draw aggressive strikes. Combining the flash and brilliance of the classic Rainbow Warrior with a tungsten bead and jig hook design, this fly rides point-up to reduce snags and hold position in the feeding zone longer. It’s a proven performer in all water conditions and an essential pattern for anglers who fish Euro-nymphing or tight-line techniques.

Design / Features

The Rainbow Warrior Jig Tungsten features a holographic tinsel body that reflects light brilliantly underwater, a soft dubbing collar for natural movement, and a tungsten bead that ensures rapid sink rates. The jig hook improves tracking and hook-up angles, while the slim body enhances drift control and presentation. This combination of flash, weight, and smart design makes it ideal for both technical and aggressive feeding scenarios.

When & Where to Use

The Rainbow Warrior Jig Tungsten excels in freestones, tailwaters, and pocket water year-round. It’s especially effective during non-hatch periods when trout respond to flash and contrast. Perfect for Euro-nymphing, tight-line rigs, or as an anchor fly in a two-fly setup, this pattern consistently produces fish in clear or stained water.
